Daniel Gandomi was born in Teheran and can look back on many years of practice in playing and teaching the violin. He has given a great number of concerts and played as a soloist, concertmaster and guest musician with different chamber and symphony orchestras.
Born into a violin maker family, he first received piano lessons at the age of four and violin lessons at the age of eleven. In the beginning, he was taught playing the violin by his father. Later, he continued his musical education under the famous violinists Dr. Zahedi and Dr. Rahimian.
At the age of 16, the artist has already given violin lessons and became an assistant of Dr. Homayun Rahimian, the director of the television symphony orchestra and director of the well-known music school in Teheran.The desire to develop his musical and educational skills led him to Vienna, where he enrolled “instrumental and voice education” at the University of Music and Performing Arts” in the violin class of Univ.-Prof. Jacqueline Roscheck-Morard. Besides that, he studied with the famous teachers Bijan Khadem-Missagh, Jussuf Karajev, Georg Hamman and Ivana Sladky, who completed his education.
As a violin teacher he has great improvisation skills, which allow him to combine the love for music with the love for all kind of people. He gives violin lessons in German, English and Persian.
Since 2014, he has run his own violin school in Vienna and in 2016 he founded the Campanella Music Academy, a private music school. The Campanella Music Academy is represented by a team of qualified and dedicated teachers, who are students and graduates of the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. They are all unified by the wish to awaken and encourage the joy and excitement of making music together, so the music school offers one-to-one lessons and group lessons at the highest level and also the opportunity for its students to perform for the audience.
